🎵🎨 Last year's Music & Murals event was incredible, and we're so excited to have it coming back! DIA Hobbs is bringing this fantastic, free, all-ages event back Saturday, September 12th, and we can't wait to see you all there!

📢 MVD Early Closure Notice

The New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) will close early at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, for mandatory staff training.

Today, we remember Dolly Parton and the incredible impact she has made through her lifelong dedication to helping children discover a love of reading.

Through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, children from birth to age five can receive a free book each month, helping make the joy of reading and the opportunity to build a home library accessible to families not only across the United States, but in communities around the world.

Dolly’s legacy reminds us to Dream More. Learn More. Care More. Be More. Her passion for children, education, literacy, and giving back has touched countless lives and will continue to inspire generations to come.

We extend our heartfelt thoughts and best wishes to Dolly’s family and loved ones during this time. We also want to continue sharing information about a project that was so meaningful to her and that continues to make a difference in the lives of children.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE

Beginning Monday, August 24, the intersection of Caprock and Central will be closed as part of a critical phase of the Trunk Line F Project.

Access from Caprock will be unavailable until further notice, and the Caprock crossing at Central will remain closed during this phase of construction.

Please avoid parking on the street or in the immediate construction area and follow all construction and traffic control signage.
