Happy National Nurses Day!

As we celebrate National Nurses Week (May 6–12), we honor The Power of Nurses—the strength, compassion, and expertise that shape healthier communities every day.

To every nurse who shows up with skill, heart, and unwavering dedication: thank you for the impact you make, one patient, one family, one moment at a time.

And to our incredible nurses here at Guidance Center of Lea County, Inc., we see you, we appreciate you, and we are deeply grateful for the care, stability, and hope you bring to those we serve. Your work changes lives.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! This week is all about our teachers! The early mornings. The late nights. The extra time you give without ever being asked. The patience, the creativity, the care you bring into your classroom every single day. It doesn't go unnoticed, and it doesn't go unappreciated.

Teachers shape more than lesson plans. You shape confidence, curiosity and the way your students see the world. That kind of impact stays with them long after the school year ends.

We just want to say thank you!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

Taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body. This month, let’s normalize therapy, rest, boundaries, and honest conversations about how we’re really doing.

You never know who needs the reminder that they’re not alone — maybe it’s you, maybe it’s someone reading your post today.

Let’s make space for compassion, connection, and healing.

Our Broadway east parking lot is closed due to demolition and construction staging.

Construction is expected to run through May 13, 2026.

We appreciate your support and patience as we make our facility even better for you!
