A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Future of the Lea County Event Center!
Today’s Hobbs Rotary Club meeting looked a little different as we had the opportunity to tour the Lea County Event Center and get an inside look at the exciting renovations underway.
A special thank you to Mr. Jim Kemp and fellow Rotarian Rosie Insilan-Munoz for taking the time to guide us through the facility and share the vision behind this incredible project. We toured the entire building, including the new meeting spaces, updated areas, and the many details that will help transform the Event Center into an even greater asset for our community.
From the expanded indoor spaces to the future outdoor amphitheater and new media features, it was exciting to see how these improvements will create more opportunities for events, gatherings, and community experiences for years to come. The renovations are expected to be completed in February 2027, and we are excited to watch this project continue to take shape.
We truly appreciate the opportunity to learn more about the future of this facility and how it will continue to serve our community. We look forward to organizing more unique tours and experiences like this for our Hobbs Rotary Club meetings in the future!
