I saw Capt Hetzler present on this topic at the Fire Prevention Association of Massachusetts event on Tuesday. His passionate approach to fixing this gap was made very simple and effective in reaching his audience. I think this is truly a topic we can and should all get behind in support to reduce risks caused by these failing heads. Just my opinion.

The FRFD is pushing hard for key changes to state and national fire codes on sprinklers, changes that could have saved lives at Gabriel House.

Topic areas include Fire/Arson Investigation, EMS, Fire Prevention, Fire Inspections, Community Risk Reduction, Haz-Mat, Incident Management, Leadership and Executive Development, Public Educa-tion, Planning and Information Management, Responder Health and Safety, Training Program Man-agement, Wildland Urban Interface (WUI), and others.
There are no tuition fees for on-campus, online and NFA-sponsored off-campus courses. Lodging on campus, instruction and course materi-als are provided at no cost.

We learned this evening that a true friend and warrior for her battles with cancer has lost the fight.😢 Please keep Wendy Fecteau and her family and Knox family in your prayers. Wendy was a true supporter of FFMIA and a genuine friend. She will be deeply missed! RIP friend!!🙏🙏🙏
