This Fire Prevention Week, we're proud to partner with Florida Power & Light Company to provide specialized battery energy storage safety training for first responders across Florida.
More than 200 firefighters and emergency personnel have completed the training this year, gaining valuable knowledge about battery energy storage systems, safety considerations and emergency response protocols, while earning continuing education credits.

As a reminder during National Fire Prevention Week, our friends at FPL join us in encouraging you all to practice safe battery charging and test your smoke alarms and replace batteries as needed to help keep your household safe 🚒

Many issues old and new discussed in advance of the 2027 Legislative Session. Good stuff and glad to be a participant.
