NOTICE TO CITY TRASH CUSTOMERS

Due to unexpected mechanical issues with the sanitation truck, trash collection may be delayed. The service provider is actively working to resolve the issue and resume its regular collection route as quickly as possible.

We kindly ask all residents to leave their trash cans at the roadside until they have been emptied. Collection will occur as soon as service is restored.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this temporary delay. We will continue to provide updates as additional information becomes available.

2:00 pm update: The sanitation trucks have arrived in town and we should have all cans picked up today. Thank you for your patience.

Update: We are good on boxes. water and gatorade. We are still here accepting donations of snacks, canned goods, non perishable food items, baby wipes/diapers, hygiene products (soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc), all sizes of new underwear, socks, and household items (paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc) for victims and responders.

URGENT: COMMUNITY SUPPORT NEEDED

Due to the ongoing wildfire in Brantley County, several families in our community have been displaced and are in need of immediate assistance.

The City of Hoboken is currently collecting donations to support those impacted during this difficult time.

📍 Drop-Off Location: Hoboken City Hall
🏠 Address: 537 Palm St, Hoboken, GA
⏰ Drop-Off Times: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We are accepting NEW or GENTLY USED items:
• Non-Perishable Food (canned goods, snacks, pop-top meals)
• Toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, feminine hygiene products)
• Clothing (all sizes, including new socks and underwear)
• Baby Supplies (diapers, wipes, formula)
• Bedding (clean blankets, pillows, towels)

Please ensure all donated items are clean and in good condition.
This wildfire has had a direct impact on members of our community. Any support you can provide will help families begin to recover.
