As Chief of the Hodgdon Volunteer Fire Dept I would like to thank all sponsors that helped us put on our Thirtieth anniversary barbecue. We served well over 200 friends, family’s and neighbors. Had a great time cooking pig for 15 hrs all nite and watching sun come up. You know we have a great dept when ya don’t have to ask people to help they just show up and say what can I do and where do ya need me. I can’t say enough about our sponsors all local and more than willing to help. When people say shop local there is a reason, to keep our businesses thriving. Another one I can’t forget because of this guy it probably wouldn’t have happened. I’m talking about Lee “ Sea Dog” Dow. He was our driving force to put this together and was there for our first one Thirty years ago. So many many thanks go out to all that helped make this a success. Appreciate everything we have an awesome Dept.
