The Hodgkins Police Department, along with our colleagues from the Countryside Police Department, cordially invite all interested community partners to join us at our upcoming Citizens Police Academy, which begins on Thursday, February 8th, 2024, at 6:30p.m. in the training room located in the basement of the Municipal Building in Countryside.

Well that’s a wrap 2023 Shop with a Cop was a great success.

This morning we had the privilege of taking some great kids from our community shopping. Thank you to everyone that came out to participate in this event and make it a memorable experience.

This event would not be possible without the generous donation from Sam’s Club and for always going above and beyond to host the event.

One of our favorite days of the year! Our Annual Shop with a Cop.

Today we had the privilege of shopping with some great kids from our community. Thank you to everyone that participated in this fun filled event. A special thanks to Sams Club for once again hosting Shop with a Cop.

At approximately 5:30PM on October 22, 2022, a person was shot in the Walmart parking lot (9450 W. Joliet Rd.). The person who was shot was taken to Loyola Hospital and is in stable condition. Officers took one suspect into custody without incident.
At this time we believe this to be an isolated incident, and there is no continuing threat to the community. However, the investigation is on-going and no further details are available at this time.

Come to the Hodgkins Public Library Ofc Johnson is currently passing out candy for till 3pm. We would also like to thank Walmart Hodgkins for donating candy for today's event.

Today the Hodgkins Park District preschool kids came to visit us. Half the class was out sick but that didn't stop these kids from having fun. One of them made himself at home on the jail cell bed. Hodgkins Park District
