A safe home is where health begins, and few partners understand that better than Ascension. This quarter, we're proud to honor Ascension as this quarter's Tony Navitsky Partner Spotlight.

Ascension first reached out in 2021 after its Community Health Needs Assessment identified housing as a pressing need in the northwest suburbs. "If you cannot address social determinants like housing and nutrition, then you will never fully address the health of mothers and children – they are completely intertwined," said Ascension. Ascension shares what drew them to Fellowship Housing and why they believe we're "all better together" in serving our community.

It was a beautiful day!

Anna* joyfully walked into her one-year review, ready to reflect on a year of both challenges and victories. She shared that the past few months brought hard moments and plans that didn't go as expected. Through it all, Anna focused on her growth, and she has a lot to celebrate. In just one year, Anna raised her credit score by more than 100 points and went past the $6,500 savings goal she set only six months ago. Energized by this success, she set a bold new goal to save an additional $8,000 over the next six months. She has also made strong progress on her car loan and is excited about paying it off in full before she graduates. Anna is moving forward with hope and determination. She has already started her application with Habitat for Humanity and is working toward owning her home before her time in Fellowship Housing ends.

Fellowship Housing is looking for a dedicated Property Coordinator to help ensure the properties are safe, welcoming, and well-maintained for the families we serve.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys coordinating projects, properties, and vendor relationships. Experience in property management, facilities management, or residential maintenance is preferred.
