What happens when you leave your vehicle at the Fire Station too long? We turn it into a clown car! (we love practicing on the shi...stuff!)
This past Monday night, we held a basic Accident Victim Extrication drill for our newest members, to introduce them to the various types of tools and technics used in extrication. I think it's safe to say that it was an eye opening experience.

Update from the Founder’s Cup National Championship tournament:
After a week of round robin play, the Akwesasne Thunder finished with a 5-0 record, earning them top seed in the standings, and a trip to the semifinals. They will take on the Alberta representative Mavericks Lacrosse Club in a 3pm tilt today. The winner moves on to the gold medal game tomorrow.

The HAVFD wishes to send out a huge congratulations to our own Akwesasne Thunder, who captured the Ontario Lacrosse Association Jr. B Lacrosse Championship! With the win, the Thunder will represent Akwesasne and the Province of Ontario at the Founder’s Cup Tournament, the Canadian National Jr. B Lacrosse Championship in St. John, New Brunswick. We wish them all the best, and safe travels!
