We at Hogansville Public Library share in the feeling of loss of such a fine person. Mrs. Patron was a wonderful advocate for reading and the education of children. She is going to missed for her music and her love of humanity.

🎶📚 **Dolly’s Legacy Reaches Right Here in Hogansville**

Like so many across the country, we were saddened this week by the passing of Dolly Parton. While most of us grew up knowing her music, what made Dolly so special was just how much she believed in giving back, especially to children, families, and small communities like ours.

And we’re fortunate to have a little piece of that legacy right here in Hogansville! 💚

Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, children in our community can receive FREE books mailed directly to their homes. It’s such a simple thing, but putting a book into the hands of a child can open up a whole new world. 📚✨

A very special thank you to the Hogansville Charitable Trust for generously funding this program for our community and helping make sure Hogansville’s little ones have the opportunity to grow up with books in their hands and big dreams in their hearts. ❤️

📚 If you have a little one at home, make sure to get them signed up for the Imagination Library! Let’s keep Dolly’s love of reading, giving, and dreaming big going right here in Hogansville.

Hogansville Public Library was given the honor of coming to the Meet The Teacher Day at Hogansville Elementary School and Callaway Middle School. We had a great time meeting the students, teachers and parents and hope to get out to the other area schools in the near future. Come by the library during September, see what we have going on and Sign up your student for their own library card! Hope to see you soon. 😁

We have another wonderful 1000 Books Before Kindergarten superstar! This little fellow and his Mom have reached the first 100 books! Can't wait to see him grow with his reading all the way to 1000 books! We invited all little babies and their family to join 1000 Books Before Kindergarten here at Hogansville Public Library.🤓📔

Hogansville Public Library had a great Summer! Three of our Summer Reading 2026 winners have come by to pick up their SRP prizes. We are still waiting on the other winners to come by. We hope that everyone will keep on coming by and enjoying our on going programs! 😊

Books, sing-a-longs, and bubbles! Join us at Hogansville Public Library at 11 am on August 27th as we build early literacy skills and enjoy a fun playtime together. We will be bubbling Thursdays at 11:00 am ! That's a whole lot of fun going on! 👶🫧
