We have activities for everyone this fall! Our September is filled with fan-favorite reading clubs, a special screening, and the launch of a new activity.

Don't forget to visit the library by Friday this week to get your books for the Labor Day weekend, and mark the week of Sept 15th that the library will be closing early to accommodate fair traffic.

Dolly Parton will be known for many wonderful acts both on stage and off. We are forever thankful for her commitment to literacy both through her writing and her foundation, The Imagination Library. She taught us all how to shine, and proved that life wasn't just all taking and no giving. Thank you, Dolly.

🏗️ Now THAT looks like an expansion!

The construction crew has been hard at work, and the walls of the new addition are going up quickly.

For those who have been wondering, this project includes both an expansion AND a renovation of our existing library. When construction is complete, we'll have a much larger, updated space to better serve our community.

It's exciting to watch the plans we've talked about for so long finally taking shape... quite literally, one block at a time! 📚❤️

We'll keep sharing progress along the way!

📞 Phone Service Update

We are still waiting for phone service to become available at our temporary location. Until then, the library is unable to make or receive phone calls.

Our phone system is currently forwarding voicemail messages to us as automated voice-to-text email transcripts. Unfortunately, those transcripts aren't always accurate and sometimes don't provide enough information for us to understand your question or contact you by email. If you leave us a voicemail and don't receive a response, please know we aren't ignoring you. We may simply not have enough information to help you.

For the quickest response, please email us, send us a Facebook message, or visit us in person at our temporary location in the High Forest Meeting Room.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to get our phone service up and running. We'll share another update as soon as phone service is available.

📚 We're reopening!!!

Beginning, Tuesday, August 4th, the library and archives will reopen to the public at our temporary location in the High Forest Meeting Room (beside Memorial Park) while construction continues on our library renovation and expansion.

Take a look through the slides for everything you need to know before your visit, including available services, temporary changes, parking and accessibility, hours of operation, and the best ways to reach us.

Our temporary home is smaller than our library, but we're excited to continue providing library services while our future library takes shape. Thank you for your patience and support during this exciting transition. ❤️📚
