UT Extension Lewis County UT Extension has been in Hohenwald since 1929.

Our mission is to provide research-based information and educational opportunities in the areas of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, and 4-H Youth Development. The staff of the Lewis County Extension Office welcomes the citizens of Lewis County to come by our office and let us help you with your information needs. Shelly Ray, Extension Agent and County Director, is r

esponsible for all family and Consumer Science programs, Gena Powers is our Extension Administrator Support Assistant II, Drew Vannatta oversees all Agricultural Educational related issues, and Whitney Dixon handles all of our 4-H Youth Educational Programs.
