Members of local 1452 Captain Steve Duggan Captain Andrew Johnson Lieutenant Dale Campbell Firefighter David Martineau and Firefighter Mike Crowe were able to attend this years Fallen Firefighter memorial in Colorado Springs. This year was especially important to our membership because our beloved retired member Firefighter Eddie Baker was placed on the wall to honor his sacrifice to the fire service. Eddie was a long time attendee to this event honoring unfortunately hundreds of firefighter deaths in the line of duty yearly. His widow Judy and her son Michael as well has some close relatives to Eddie were also there in attendance. Thank you to the leadership of the and all the countless volunteers that make this event possible. May you rest in peace Eddie.

📚🚒 BACK TO SCHOOL! 🚒📚

The first day of school is here, and the Holbrook Fire Department wants to wish all of our students, teachers, staff, and families a safe, successful, and happy school year! ❤️💙

Whether you’re walking through the doors for the first time or heading into your final year, remember to work hard, be kind, look out for one another, and never be afraid to ask for help.

Parents and drivers — please remember that school is back in session! 🚸 Slow down, stay alert, watch for buses and children crossing, and give yourself a little extra time getting where you need to go.

Here’s to a great year of learning, growing, making memories, and looking out for our community.

🍎📓✏️ Have a GREAT school year, Holbrook!

— Your friends at Holbrook Fire 🚒❤️
