Update from the HB Turtle Patrol -
It has been two weeks since we last saw a nesting sea turtle on Holden Beach, which means we have officially reached the end of the nesting season. What an incredible season it has been, with a total of 75 nests!

However, hatching season is still underway. Holden Beach Turtle Watch Program (HBTP) teams are out on the beach every evening monitoring the remaining nests. To date, 4,941 hatchlings have successfully made their way to the ocean from our beach.
