We hope you have all enjoyed the summer reading program for 2026! We are always trying new things to make the program better for everyone, and would like to know how you felt about the summer. Summer reading is over and the minutes are in! Together everyone read 626,531 minutes! We passed a whole calendar year and then some. Amazing work, everybody!
The competition between the Holden elementary schools was a tight race this year, here are the placings:
In third place with 120,776 minutes is Dawson Elementary!
In second place with 133,824 minutes is Davis Hill Elementary!
And in first place with 154,542 minutes is Mayo Elementary!
Congratulations, Mayo Mountain Lions, you've won free books for your school library! Our second and third place schools will also be receiving some books!
Everybody should be proud of their reading this summer. Thank you all so much for participating!
