Mission Accomplished! After four long days, 102.3 course miles, 255,000+ steps, Sgt Consiglio finished what he set out to do. The Why Me & Sherry's House 100 Mile Ruck March was a grueling charity challenge to raise money for the nonprofit organization that provides emotional and financial support to families with childhood cancer. Please join Holden PD in congratulating Sgt Consiglio and all the participants who finished this amazing feat.

Holden Police Sergeant Jason Consiglio later this week is taking on the challenge of Why Me & Sherry's House 100 Mile Ruck March. Sgt Consiglio, a US Marine Combat Veteran, is inspired to participate in this event to raise awareness and donations for children battling cancer and the families who face unimaginable challenges every day.

The 100 Mile Ruck March Charity Challenge is a military-inspired endurance event in which dedicated athletes will ruck—hiking 100 miles over the course of four days while carrying everything they need for the journey on their backs, covering 25 miles each day. Modeled after the grit and discipline of military ruck marches, the challenge tests participants’ physical endurance, mental toughness, and perseverance—all while raising critical funds to support children fighting cancer through the programs of Why Me & Sherry’s House, including support groups, financial assistance, family events, and more, all provided free of charge to the entire family.

If you are looking for and willing to donate to a great charity, check out the link below.
