There is another scam going around with phone calls claiming they are a deputy. The Sheriffs office will not call you to ask you for money on missed tickets, jury duties, or failure to register, etc. Call dispatch at 405-379-6627 and ask if there is a deputy working under that name if you have doubts. They try and tell you that you cant hang up without paying them first, again these are scams.

UPDATE: Ms. Snodgrass has been located. We want to thank Seminole County Sheriff’s Office and the Muscogee Creek Nation for their assistance.

The Hughes County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call South of Spaulding on 4/25/26 which turned into a possible missing person.

We along with the Muscogee Creek Nation Lighthorse are working together to attempt to locate this individual.

We have been advised of Facebook post circulating requesting for people to come search. Do not take it upon yourself to trespass on any property without permission of the property owner or law enforcement.

The property owner is cooperating with both law enforcement agencies. Searches have been conducted and other leads are being chased down.
