⚠️ Severe storms are in the forecast. We’re monitoring conditions closely.

High winds can bring down tree branches and power lines. If you see a downed line, here’s how to stay safe:

• Assume every downed line is energized and can cause serious injury or death.
• Stay at least 25 feet away from the line and anything it’s touching.
• Stay inside if a line falls on your home or vehicle.
• Never try to move a downed line.
• Do not touch a person or object in contact with the line.
• Do not touch tree branches or vehicles that are near downed lines.
• Call 911 immediately if someone is trapped.

If you lose power:

• Never run a generator indoors, including in basements, garages, or enclosed spaces. Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide, which is colorless, odorless, and can be deadly.

Holland BPW residential electric customers can earn a double rebate when they purchase a new ENERGY STAR dehumidifier or tune up their AC in May, June or July!

That means for May, June and July only, you can get a $50 rebate for AC or heat pump tune-ups and a $50 rebate for new ENERGY STAR dehumidifiers.

Through our energy efficiency rebates, Holland BPW has supported Jubilee in building more than a dozen highly efficient, 100% electric homes in Holland - totaling $140,000 in rebates over the past two years.

These homes are designed for households earning 80–120% of the area median income, helping make efficient, all-electric living more accessible.

Each home features:
- Cold-climate heat pumps
- Heat pump water heaters

With these efficient technologies and Holland BPW's low electric rates, residents are expected to pay less annually on utilities compared to similar homes using gas heating.
