The first leg of the journey to the State Senate is complete and I wish I could personally thank each and every one of you for your incredible support. Whether you donated to my campaign, placed a sign in your yard, helped me knock on doors, made phone calls, or simply filled in the circle next to my name on the ballot, I am deeply humbled and grateful beyond what these mere words can convey.
I would also like to thank my Democratic competitor, Keagan Host. It’s young people like him who are the future of the Democratic Party. They are the generation that will inherit and defend democracy, and I am thankful for his willingness to get involved in this race. Keagan, I hope you continue your passion and fervor in politics. You have a bright future ahead!
Our job is not done, though. Ahead of us is a race against a local and statewide Republican Party who swear that tax cuts for the rich will trickle down to the poorest among us, that DOGE was a good idea, and that we’re living in a hellscape of crime and violence triggered by “the woke.” Republicans believe the answer to all our problems is to export their “solutions” from Washington, D.C. into our state and adopt them for our own.
We have the next 90 days to stop it.
As grateful as I am for your support thus far, I am asking you once again, to come alongside me and finish this job. It will not be easy. But I promise you that as the sun sets on the General Election November 3, I will have left everything I have on the road to make this happen. And I’ll be honored to have done it with you.
