We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from our community. The amount of donations, messages, and willingness to help the family has been overwhelming in the very best way. Thank you for showing up the way you always do!

At this time, the family has all the clothing they need.

They are currently in need of totes/bins with lids, which can be dropped off outside the Firehall.

If you’d still like to support them, please continue sharing and contributing through their Amazon Wish List and GoFundMe. Every bit of help continues to make a difference as they navigate the days ahead.

From the bottom of our hearts β€” thank you. Your generosity, kindness, and support mean more than we can put into words.

Last night HFD responded to a house fire that affected one of our own volunteers & his family.

As immediate needs become known, we will continue to share updates.

They are warm & safe, and we are working to support them in their time of need.

As you can imagine, given how unknown this all feels, we hope to have a wish list & more to share in the coming days. So many of you have asked how to help, and we truly appreciate the support.
All donations may be dropped off at the fire hall - 49 N Main St. There is a large bin outside the front man doors. Please ensure the lid is closed after donation!

Food/meal donations, Gift Cards, and financial donations can be dropped off on Thursday, 7:00-9:00pm, or by messaging us so we have someone available to meet you!

Clothing sizes for donations:
Dad – 2XL shirt, 40x30 pants, shoe size mens 9.5 wide
Mom – XL shirt, size 14 pants, shoe size women’s 8.5
Daughter – size 10/12, shoe size girls 3
Son – size 5T, shoe size toddler 10

🚜 FARMEDIC TRAINING PARTICIPATION πŸš’

This past weekend, Firefighter Joe Youngers represented the Holland Fire Department at the annual FARMEDIC Training, a two-day program focused on responding to emergencies in agricultural settings.

The training brought together responders from across Wyoming County and beyond to review and practice handling farm-related incidents such as fires, chemical spills, medical emergencies, grain bin rescues, and equipment entrapments.

Day two included a presentation on a new farm hazard mapping project in coordination with Wyoming County Emergency Services, Cornell Cooperative Extension, and 4-H, followed by a site tour at Breezyhill Dairy and a hands-on rescue simulation involving two trapped victims.

Thank you, Joe, for your continued dedication to specialized training that helps keep our rural community safe. πŸ‘
