Because of supporters like you, a mom didn't have to rebuild alone.💙

After abuse, something as simple as a high chair or a stroller can feel out of reach. Thanks to generous donors, this mom was able to find both through our Apparel and Essentials Closet, a resource that supports survivors rebuilding their lives with clothing, diapers, housewares, and other high-need items.

This is what your support makes possible. Not just safety, but the everyday things that help a family start again.

A heartfelt thank you to the Allegan County Community Foundation for their generous $5,000 grant supporting services for survivors in our community. 💙

We are especially grateful to Chris Kleinjans for taking the time to visit Resilience and present us with this check. It means so much to have local partners who believe in our mission and recognize the importance of ensuring survivors in Allegan County have access to the support, safety, and resources they need.

Thank you, Allegan County Community Foundation, for investing in survivors and helping us continue this vital work in our community. We are truly grateful for your partnership and continued commitment to Allegan County. 💙

A coach can influence much more than how an athlete performs on the field.

Through Coaching Boys Into Men, coaches use the relationships they already have with young athletes to start conversations about respect, healthy relationships, consent, boundaries, and speaking up when someone is being harmed or disrespected.

The goal is bigger than developing better athletes.

It’s helping develop young men who understand that leadership is also about how we treat people, how we respond when something isn’t right, and what we are willing to stand for.

That’s coaching.

And that’s prevention.

As women fought for equality, they also fought for each other. ✨

During a time of major progress, advocates in our community recognized that rights alone were not enough. Safety, support, and survival had to be part of the movement too

In 1977, women built the Center for Women in Transition to respond to the realities many were facing. By 1986, more than 1,400 people received services from shelter and crisis intervention programs that helped rebuild independence.

This Women's Equality Day, we honor the women who expanded the movement and created pathways to safety.

Who are the women in your life or in history who have inspired you to keep fighting for others? Tag a friend who inspires you!
