YAY!!! 🥳 We’re so excited to announce that we’re adding MONDAYS to our schedule! That’s right, starting next week we’ll now be open MONDAYS from 9–11 AM, in addition to our regular Tuesday and Thursday hours! 🙌❤️

📚🥵 Well… even our books need a little A/C! 🥵📚

The BJ Hill Library is having some trouble with our AC unit, so unfortunately, we won’t be able to open today. 😔

We’re sorry for the inconvenience and hope to be back up and running soon! 🤞❄️

In the meantime, don’t forget to stop by when we reopen and find yourself a great book to enjoy! 📖✨ Because there’s nothing better than a good book… especially when you can read it somewhere nice and cool! 😎📚

The BJ Hill Library continually withdraws items from the collection, basing its decisions on a number of factors, including publishing date, frequency of circulation, community interest, and availability of newer or more valid materials.

Items dealing with local history are an exception. Fiction that was once popular but no longer in demand and non-fiction books that are no longer useful are withdrawn from the collection.

Withdrawn books are donated to the Friends of the Library (if the library has a Friends of the library group)for book sales. The proceeds from such sales are used for the benefit of the library.
We always reach out to local libraries as well. Books that are not sold will be disposed of at the discretion of the Friends of the Library or the Library Board.

As a reminder we are not taking donations at this time. We recently received a grant for $5000. We have purchased a wide range of books to add to our collection.

We now have to w**d our shelves to make room for all the new books. Any books left as donations will be discarded at the discretion of the library board.
