Hollansburg Community Volunteer Fire Dept., Inc. Station 9 The Hollansburg Fire Department was established in 1894 and became the First Rural Motorized Volunteer Fire Department in the USA on July 18,1917.

The Hollansburg FD is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization. The department is an all volunteer fire company.

The Hollansburg FD sent a crew out yesterday afternoon to survey our fire territory south of Hollansburg and parts of Wayne co. for flooding and damage. Thankfully there were no serious areas of flooding/damage. The east fork of the Whitewater River that runs west of Hollansburg was high but still within its limits. Our prayers are with Richmond and Cambridge City. Be Safe out there when traveling the next few days!

Service arrangements for Town Marshal Brad Fisher are as follows:

📍 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Public Visitation
đź“Ť 4:00 PM: Funeral Service (will begin promptly)

Following the funeral service, police honors will be rendered at Spartanburg Cemetery.

We invite all emergency service personnel and apparatus wishing to pay their respects to join us in honoring Marshal Fisher’s dedicated service and sacrifice.

Additional details regarding staging, procession, and apparatus parking will be posted on Saturday.

Please continue to keep the Fisher family, his law enforcement family, and all those affected in your thoughts during this difficult time.

The Hollansburg FD and Fountain City FD responded to a rollover on St. Rt. 227 just south of Whitewater, IN at 3:00 pm today. Both driver and passenger were already out of the vehicle with minor injuries. One was transported to the hospital. No insurance, No driver license and the vehicle did not belong to the driver.
