Reminder:
TIGER STADIUM FOOTBALL STUDENT GUIDELINES
In order to maintain a safe, orderly and enjoyable atmosphere for all those attending Hollidaysburg football games, the following guidelines will be followed for students entering Tiger Stadium. These rules and procedures will be enforced at all times in order to keep our fans safe and students well supervised.
Students in grades K-6 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult for the entirety of the game.
All students in grades 7-9 are required to sit in the designated Junior High student section which is behind the Senior High student section. This section will be monitored by adults. Students may sit with their parents or guardian for the entirety of the game. Parents are responsible for their student’s behavior.
All students in grades 10-12 are required to sit in the Home stands. Students are encouraged to sit in the designated Hooligan student section or with their parents or guardians for the entirety of the game.
Students are not permitted to bring in BACKPACKS into the stadium. All bags and belongings are subject to search and seizure.
No loitering is permitted. Students must sit in the stands. Aisles must be kept clear at all times. Congregating under the bleachers or around the concession areas will not be permitted. Standing along the field fence during the game is prohibited.
There will be no walking around the outside of the field during the football game.
Students are not allowed to stand on the bleacher seats.
Students who throw food, drink, or other items will be immediately escorted from the stadium, will not be allowed re-admittance, and may be banned from the stadium for the remainder of the school year.
Students/Spectators who refuse to comply with stadium officials’ directions will be immediately escorted from the stadium, will not be allowed re-admittance, and may be banned from the stadium for the remainder of the year.

The Hollidaysburg Area School District will be dismissing early again on Thursday, September 3rd, at the following times:

12:15 PM - Senior High
12:25 PM - Junior High
1:15 PM - Elementary

The weather looks much better on Friday, so we strongly anticipate that to be a normal day of school.

The Hollidaysburg Area School District will be dismissing early again on Wednesday, September 2nd, at the following times:

12:15 PM - Senior High
12:25 PM - Junior High
1:15 PM - Elementary

We will closely monitor temperatures on Thursday to decide whether to implement another early dismissal that morning.

Welcome back, Tigers! 🐯💙💛

As we prepare for the start of the 2026–27 school year, we want to remind families about student Chromebooks and the optional Chromebook Protection Plan.

Students must return all required Chromebook paperwork in order to receive their Chromebook. The required documents were sent to families through ParentSquare and include the last two pages of the Chromebook Handbook and the Acceptable Use Policy (Board Policy 815) form. Please be sure to complete the appropriate forms for your student’s school, as separate forms are provided for the Junior High and Senior High.

The optional Chromebook Protection Plan is $30 per student. Checks should be made payable to HASD. Please write “Protection Plan” and the student’s ID number in the memo line.

The Music Dept. is celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Hollidaysburg Band this year! The celebration will kickoff on Oct. 2 during our Homecoming Festivities. We are inviting all Band Alumni to join us on the field at Tiger Stadium!! Please help us spread the word and pass along the attached flyer.

Also, HAMPA is sponsoring a Mattress Sale at the Senior High School on Saturday, August 29. If you or anyone you know is in need of a new mattress please consider supporting the music department. Information is attached.
