Secondary Threats: Large hail, weak tornadoes, flash flooding

Yesterday afternoon Box 630-1 was struck for a motor vehicle accident into a structure with injuries. Chief 10, Engine Rescue 10, Rescue 20, Engine 10 and additional fire police responded on the call. Units arrived to find a single vehicle into the structure with heavy damage. Drive self extricated and was with ems on arrival and later transported to the hospital. Crews secured the vehicle and assessed the damage to the structure.

Last evening Engine 10 and Truck 10 assisted Station 50 Allegheny Township Volunteer Fire Department with a reported dwelling fire. Units went enroute and was advised of a working fire. Engine 10 reversed laid to establish a water supply with Engine Tanker 40 while crews from the engine and Truck went to work with searches, checking for extension and roof ventilation. Crews cleared the scene shortly after 10pm

With the warmer weather finally upon us, our supply of Water and Gatorade is in need of being replenished. Please consider picking up a case of water or Gatorade and dropping off at our firehouse. Donations can be put back at our chicken pit or send us a message to arrange drop off. Thank you!

Congratulations 🎊 to the class of 2026!
Today members gathered to support one of our own at graduation. Firefighter Clingerman joined with us at the age of 16. He advanced to probationary status this week and can now transition to an interior Firefighter. CONGRATULATIONS your 10 House family is proud of you!! We wish you nothing but the best as you now begin your adult life.

Last evening we were happy to host the brush mountain composite squadron from the civil air patrol group. Members showed covered rope rescue techniques

The department will be escorting the Hollidaysburg Senior High Boys Baseball team into town tonight around 8pm. You may hear sirens as we help them celebrate winning the District title.
