🌱 To help celebrate Conservation Professional Week, we’d like to highlight each department in our district and the important work they do!

Today, we’re highlighting our Erosion & Sediment (E&S) Team! 🌎

The Erosion and Sediment (E&S) team oversees any project that involves earthmoving activities; this helps to minimize pollution to Blair County’s water during construction projects.

A favorite project from our E&S technicians,Devon and Nicole, was the VA Home in Hollidaysburg because of how great the crew was to work with as well as what the project was able to accomplish for the community!

We are very thankful for our E&S team!!

August is Water Quality Month! 💧

Clean water doesn't happen by chance - it takes ongoing conservation efforts and strong local partnerships. Pennsylvania's county conservation districts work every day to protect and improve our streams, rivers, and lakes, through education, technical assistance, erosion and sediment control, agricultural support, watershed restoration, and more.

This month, join us in celebrating the people and programs helping keep our water clean and healthy for future generations.

Thank you to Pennsylvania's county conservation districts for making a difference every day!
