Hollidaysburg Area Arts Council The Hollidaysburg Area Arts Council enriches the Hollidaysburg community with arts and music. The Hollidaysburg Area Arts Council is a group made up of volunteers from Hollidaysburg and surrounding areas.

Sign up here for a Family Paint Night art class! This is a family-friendly one-hour paint class. We will be doing a short kid-friendly meditation and learning the ancient, calming art of Japanese Sumi-e Painting.

Sumi-e literally translates as "black ink painting" and is fun and easy to learn. We are excited to give parents and their children a chance to learn a calming skill before the new school year begins, so come and have fun with us!

6th stop on the Art Walk this evening: The Blair County Community Mural. HAAC public art project was designed and painted in 2002 by mural artist Deb Bunnell and assisted by Kathy Gassler, and volunteer painters. Refurbished in 2018. Please make note of the panels on the lower middle.

One-of-a-kind commercial art using Traveler’s Insurance logo featuring a metal umbrella designed in the 1970’s by Richard Brenner, artist/owner (Bill Brenner’s father). The store front received national recognition from the insurance industry.

4th stop on this evening's Art Walk: Railroad City Brewing Company building. Built by Daniel K. Reamy, 1838, the oldest building on Allegheny street and an example of Federal style architecture.

Reamy was one of the first builders of the Blair County Courthouse.
