Okay so I guess it's time to start posting some ideas and getting some feedback. First off this is not a joke, although I will have fun, I am seriously running for the US House of Represntatives. I am only going to make two promises and those are, when I do get into office I will stay there for no longer than eight years, and I will not take corporate money in exchange for my vote. I won't promise anything else other than I will do my best to represent the people of the 20th District of California, and in turn the United States of America. I want to restore a bit of humanity and compassion to the office.

So here is the deal. Starting on Dec. 30 I will need some help. That is the date that I can pick up the paperwork for signatures. I can either get 3,000 signatures of registered voters in CA District 20 or I have to pay $1,740.00. I must have the "signatures in lieu" turned in on Feb. 23, 2012. Each county will have to have a seperate sheet. The people helping collect the signatures must also be registered voters in CA District 20. Within 10 days of submission I will be notified of deficiecies and have until March 9 2012 to make them up. At that point I will have to pay a prorated filing fee.
