🐾 203 REASONS TO CELEBRATE! 🐾
We are bursting with gratitude today! Thanks to the incredible teamwork of our dedicated volunteers and amazing rescue partners, 203 animals recently made their way out of the shelter and onto the next chapter of their journeys.
So far in 2026, our shelter has welcomed 880 animals through our doors. Managing that volume is a huge undertaking, and rescue transfers are a vital lifeline in helping us clear space and give every animal the second chance they deserve. We truly could not do this work without our partners in animal welfare!
A huge shoutout to everyone involved in coordinating, transporting, and hosting these transfers:
✈️ 148 animals transferred to partner rescues outside of Taney County

🏠 20 animals transferred to our friends at Branson Humane Society , 5 animals Transferred to Dallas Ranch and 1 transferred to Paws and Hands United.

🚚 28 animals transferred to out-of-state rescue partners

To every driver who hit the road early, every volunteer who loaded crates and comforted scared pups and kitties, and every rescue partner who opened their doors to take in animals—THANK YOU! You are literally saving lives. ❤️🐶🐱
