Xinachtli is a rites of passage program for female-identifying youth ages 13-15. Xinachtli offers a safe space rooted in healing-informed practices and helps youth develop a sense of sacredness and purpose through cultural identity and interconnectedness between family, peers, community, and the environment. Participants dive into conversations around respect, sisterhood, healthy relationships, and so much more.

✨ Taking a moment to celebrate and recognize our most recent Xinachtli graduates from Gilroy 🙌🏼

For the past 12 weeks, they shared their wisdom, strengthened their voices, embraced healing, and built resilience alongside one another. Through growth, connection, and leadership, they have shown us the power of community and the gifts they each bring to the world.

Thank you to our dedicated Xinachtli facilitators and Marisol Palomares for helping guide this journey. ❤️

Congratulations to the students from Solorsano Middle School who completed the program—we are beyond proud of you and grateful to witness your leadership. Our future is in good hands. 💛🌻

This past weekend, 12 incredible young people from Youth Alliance attended the Youth Justice Conference in San Jose! 🙌🏼

Alongside youth from across the region, they spent the weekend learning, connecting, and building leadership skills through workshops focused on immigrant rights, youth advocacy, cultural healing, and knowing your rights. ✊🏽

We’re so proud to see young people stepping up into these spaces with courage, curiosity, and a commitment to supporting one another. Opportunities like these help empower the next generation of leaders to advocate for themselves, their families, and their communities! 👥

We were especially proud to recognize our staff graduates for their accomplishments and growth. Congratulations on this important milestone! 🎓👏🏽

We also extend our deepest gratitude to Mr. Cota for his years of service to Youth Alliance. His unwavering commitment to our organization and the countless students and staff he has impacted through our after-school programs has left a lasting legacy that will continue for generations.

A BIG thank you to our unstoppable staff and event planning committee for making this celebration so meaningful.
