The Hollister Police Department is mourning the heartbreaking loss of a member of our Missouri State Highway Patrols law enforcement family.

My wife and I have known the Henderson family for many years. I first began working alongside Trooper Justin Henderson more than twenty years ago, and over the years, our friendship grew into a brotherhood. We have also had the privilege of knowing Haley since she and Colten were just teenagers.

Our hearts are broken for Colten, Averiegh, Waylen and the entire Henderson and Hahn families. We are keeping each of them in our thoughts and prayers as they try to navigate through this unimaginable and incredibly difficult time.

“ The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” - Psalm 34:18

Please join us in offering our deepest condolences, love, and prayers to the Henderson and Hahn family.

The Hollister Police Department would like to welcome aboard our newest Patrolman, Officer Sean Zarbis. Zarbis graduated the Drury Law Enforcement Academy earlier this year. Zarbis is a California native but moved to Missouri 8 years ago with his family. The Zarbis family plans to move into the Taney/Christian County area and looks forward to serving the Hollister Community in his new role. Please join me in welcoming Officer Zarbis to Hollister.

Good afternoon Hollister community, we are getting closer to having our new patrol cars operational and in service. I just wanted to give a sneak peek at what you will be seeing when they roll out. We will still have a few white patrol vehicles on the beat for a few more years. The black and white police car is one of the oldest traditions in law enforcement. With all the changes we have made over the past seven months this was just another way to show that we are moving forward with our department.
