🚒 Training Beyond the Pavement! 🌲

Your Hollister firefighters were out today at Hollister Hills State Park putting their off-road driving skills to the test! 🚗 💨

San Benito County is home to a lot of rural and rugged terrain, and when an emergency happens, our firefighters need to be ready to navigate it safely and effectively. Today’s training helps our crews build the experience and confidence needed to reach people wherever they may be.

We’re proud to put in the work today so we’re better prepared to serve our community tomorrow. 💪🔥

Welcome Home, Guys! 🚒🔥

Welcome home to our strike team crew! After 16 days deployed to Oregon, our guys are back home and already getting to work—cleaning up the rig and getting it ready for the next call.

With fires continuing to burn across the West Coast, that next deployment could come sooner than later. We’re incredibly proud of our firefighters for answering the call, supporting communities in need, and representing Hollister with professionalism and dedication.

Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and for always being ready to go when duty calls. Welcome home, brothers!🇺🇸🚒

🔥 Hollister Fire on the line

Hollister Fire sent Battalion Chief Rossi and Captain Siemann as single resources to assist with the massive grass fire that started in Southeast Oregon. The fire has since spread into Southwest Idaho and continues to push south toward Nevada.

Now approaching 700,000 acres burned, with the potential to reach 1 million acres, this fire is a massive and rapidly evolving incident.

We’re proud to have our members representing Hollister Fire and standing alongside firefighters from across the region to protect communities, property, and the land. 🤝🔥

🚫🔥 BURNING IS CURRENTLY SUSPENDED 🔥🚫

Your Hollister Firefighters would like to remind all San Benito County residents that ALL outdoor burning is suspended until further notice. That means there should be ZERO burning on your property.

With dry conditions and an increased fire risk, it’s more important than ever that we all do our part to protect our community. A single spark can have devastating consequences.

Thank you for helping keep San Benito County safe by following the burn suspension. Together, we can protect our neighbors, our homes, and our town. ❤️🚒
