Hi everyone, as you all know we had to close our doors temporarily due to Covid19 for the safety of our community. We had alot of plans to help our community prosper, while promoting unity hosting events. Our G.E.D. class was striving, the students had started taking their series of exams. Some students are getting closer to their goals of getting their G.E.D. Our tutoring sessions were beneficial to several elementary students in our area as well.
However, at this time, we are trying to determine the fate of the Book Nook. We can't function without income, can't continue to pay rent/ utilities out of pocket as we have been doing. Because now I've been unemployed since March too.
Therefore we unfortunately may have to close our first community library.
Covid19 has just taken too much, so ready for it to be gone. Please continue to pray that I can fulfill God's plan through L's Book Nook. This is very difficult for me, my emotions are all over the place. Please whisper a prayer for me that God send me help or peace. I was trying to hang on, but maybe its meant for me to take a different path. I don't know, but I know I appreciate all the ones that did come to support. Atleast my dream came true, even if it was only for a little while.

Dorothy Hatton-Lee dropped out of high school at age 14 to care for 11 siblings. She did finish school but has waited nearly 80 years for it to be official.
