***ATTENTION*** There has been an increase number of incidents in which Bad actors are posing as Bail Bond Agents, and using local legitimate bonding agencies names to scam people. They are even going so far as meeting in the parking lot of the actual agency parking lot to scam the public. PLEASE DO NOT BE SCAMMED! If someone reaches out to you unsolicited claiming to be a Bail agent, always do a quick google search and call the Number back thats listed for the agency to speak to the person who initially called you. If you have fell victim to this scam or if someone attempted to scam you under these false pretenses, Please contact your local law enforcement agency immediately. It does NOT matter how much time has passed. Keep all numbers and any additional information these scammers gave to you and give this to the responding law enforcement officers. The more information given and reports we make, the quicker we can bring these crooks to Justice and Prevent this from happening to Anyone else. TO ALL MY FELLOW BAIL AGENTS.... If someone call you and states someone from your agency called them requesting money PLEASE gather all the information that you can from the caller(i.e. all numbers the scammer used, names used, inmates information)including the callers information and call Law enforcement immediately. There is power and numbers! The more agencies and civilians that come together to make reports, The sooner we will be able to put an end to this travesty.
