THIS IS WHAT COLLABORATION LOOKS LIKE.

This summer, Community Thrive collaborated with Mr. & Ms. Mentoring to run a career and financial literacy camp for Volusia County youth. Now, our two nonprofits are building on that success through Coastal CTRL to bring mentoring, life skills, career discovery, career coaching, and more to young people across Volusia County, from one end of the county to the other.

Come paint the mural that symbolizes this amazing collaboration between two nonprofits committed to helping Volusia youth discover purpose, build confidence, and prepare for the future.

We are gathering 30 volunteers to paint the halls used by Alpine Polytech Academy, an academic and career discovery service provider, and create a welcoming space for local youth.

MEET YOUR MURAL LEADER

Natasha Azari is an established local mural artist and the founder of Save The Arts Movement, a nonprofit built on a simple idea: art brings people together.

She uses a paint-by-number approach so anyone can pick up a brush. No experience. No art background. No pressure. Kids, grandparents, first-time painters, and people who swear they cannot draw a straight line. Natasha makes room for all of them on the same wall.

That is exactly the spirit of Paint the Halls at Alpine Polytech Academy, an academic and career discovery service provider where purpose and futures begin and imagination paves the way. We are honored she said yes. 💚

Sometimes the best way to strengthen a club is to spend time together outside of meetings and service projects.

We had a fun social outing with our Kiwanis Club, filled with laughter and great conversation. It’s moments like these that remind us that the friendships we build are just as important as the work we do for our community.

Looking forward to many more opportunities to serve together and have a little fun along the way!

Seabreeze Kiwanis had the pleasure of helping to distribute hurricane supplies with The Food Bridge this past Saturday, 7/11, at The First Church in Holly Hill. Thanks to our members that helped! 90 families were served! Thanks Chuck for the opportunity to Serve!

This morning, we had the pleasure of hearing from one of our own club members, Dennis McConnell, who served as our guest speaker. Dennis shared an informative presentation on the history of the FIFA World Cup and explained many of the rules that make the world’s most popular sport so exciting to watch.

Thank you, Dennis, for an engaging and educational program! We appreciate you sharing your knowledge and helping us learn more about the beautiful game. ⚽

I was delighted to have Holly Hill Police Chief Byron Williams speak at our Kiwanis meeting this morning.

Chief Williams shared updates on the many positive changes taking place within the City of Holly Hill, and I continue to be impressed by his commitment to serving our community. His focus on community engagement, transparency, and building strong relationships with residents is truly commendable and reflects a vision that is making a meaningful impact throughout the City of Holly Hill.

Thank you, Chief Williams, for taking the time to speak with our members and for your dedication, leadership, and unwavering service to the Holly Hill community. We appreciate all that you and the Holly Hill Police Department do each day to make our city a safer and stronger place to live, work, and visit.

This morning, we had the pleasure of hearing from Kris Sanders of 1 Ohana 1 Community Inc. as our guest speaker. Her work is truly inspiring and makes a tremendous impact on children entering the foster care community.

This incredible 501(c)(3) organization not only collects and distributes much-needed items to foster families, but also ensures foster children experience the joy of the holidays by providing Easter baskets and Christmas gifts so they do not go without.

We are incredibly grateful for all Kris and her organization do for our community and encourage everyone to reach out to learn how they can support this meaningful mission. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children and families in need. 💙
