Advanced Manufacturing teams turned machines into market-ready products and presented their capstones to a panel of judges. Students had to develop, create, and market a product. Each group collaborated with students from Digital Media to bring their commercials to life.

The Eddie Dixon Career and Technical Education Center Takes the Workforce by STORM. Our students learn real-world skills both in and out of the classroom. Vernice, Health Science Year 1 student, applies her knowledge by conducting hearing screenings with the audiometer.

We have had a great Teacher Appreciation Week at the Eddie Dixon Career and Technical Education Center. We are so thankful for our community for showing their love and appreciation this week.
We'd like to extend a thank you to Angela Mayfield and the Rotary Club, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and to Carlisle's Cash Saver for sharing their appreciation in the second half of this week.
Thank you again to everyone who helped make this week a special week for our teachers.

Eddie Dixon Career and Technical Education students learned about the dangers of opioids and how to administer naloxone in the case of an overdose. A special thank you to Bob Lomenick with Tyson Drug Company, Lyda Stokes with SafeGuard Mississippi and Emma Glorioso, 2nd Year Pharmacy student at Ole Miss.
