Those who are personal friends or family of mine know that my sister's step-son, 19 year old "Tyler" has been missing since Mon. night. He's the good looking young man on far left in photo. A massive search party has been ongoing along and in the river where his truck was found (between Water Valley and Oxford). I'm sharing this on my farm page because the search parties and rescue workers and volunteers are working in extreme weather conditions. Non-stop rain and temps dropping to near freezing make wading a river extremely difficult. They are in need of donations like portable heat, blankets, dry towels, rain gear. I'm sure flashlights and batteries and just about anything else that can assist them would also be much appreciated. I know a lot of my fellow Woodvillians also go to/from Oxford and/or have homes and businesses there. If you know of a business or store that could donate and deliver items, it would be much appreciated. Thanks so much. And we all need your prayers.

For those interested Jimmy Warrens funeral is today at 3 at the penacostal church by the square and burial is at hill crest cemetery. Please keep him and his family in your prayers!

With a heavy heart we want to announce that a dear friend and beloved member of Marshall County Sheriffs Dept., Jimmy Warren, passed away this morning. Thank you for your service. You are lost but never forgotten!!!

Today marks a day of great loss as we say good bye to Marshall County Deputy Scott Johnson who passed away last night from a heart attack. Scott was a hard working and valued member of the department and great friend to all! Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers! RIP brother! We will miss you!

Officer Martoiya Lang was shot serving a drug-related search warrant early this Friday morning in Tennessee. Lang, 32, was a mother of four children.
