FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

On Friday, July 24, 2026, officers with the Holly Springs Police Department, along with deputies from the Marshall County Sherrif's Department responded to City Trends on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive regarding a disturbance in the parking lot.

Following an investigation, officers arrested 35 year old Travarius Scott of Olive Branch, Mississippi. Scott was charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Miss. Code Ann. 41-29-139) - Schedule Vl (Ma*****na) and one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Miss. Code Ann. 41-29-139) - Schedule ll (Methamphetamine).

Scott was processed and transported to the Marshall County Sherrif's Department, where he was housed pending bond.

This investigation remains ongoing, and additional arrests may follow.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

On Wednesday, July 22, 2026, officers with the Holly Springs Police Department arrested 37 year old Catrice Payne of Byhalia, Mississippi. Payne's arrest was the result of an investigation that began at Walmart on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

Payne was charged with POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE in violation of Mississippi Code Annotated 41-29-139.

Following her arrest, Payne was transported to the Marshall County Sherrif's Department, where she was processed and booked pending a bond.

On Friday, July 17, 2026, Holly Springs Police Officers arrested 21 year old Ciara Hughes of Hickory Flat, Mississippi. Hughes was charged with Mississippi Code 97-3-65 / STATUTORY R**E.

Hughes was transported to the Marshall County Sherrif's Department where she was processed and housed pending a bond.

On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, Holly Springs
Police Officers responded to the Circle K conventionce store in reference to an active disturbance. Upon arrival and after conducting an investigation, officers arrested 27-year-old Addyson Westmoreland of Greenwood, Mississippi.

Westmoreland was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in violation of Mississippi Code 41-29-139.

Westmoreland was transported to the Marshall County Sherrif's Department, where she was processed and booked pending the setting of a bond.

On Thursday, July 9, 2026, Holly Springs Police Officers successfully recovered a missing purse belonging to Mrs. Mary Turnage.

Mrs. Turnage accidentally left her purse in a shopping cart after shopping at Walmart. After officers responded and conducted a prompt investigation, the purse and all of its content were located and safely returned to her.

Mrs. Turnage was extremely excited and appreciative of the officers quick response and efforts in recovering her property.

On Monday, July 6, 2026, Holly Springs Police detectives took 19 year old Jabari Johnson of Holly Springs into custody.

Johnson has been charged with Grand Larceny and Robbery - Use of a Deadly Weapon.

Following his arrest, Johnson was transported to the Marshall County Sherrifs Department, where he was processed and housed pending a bond.

As this remains an active investigation, no additional information will be released at this time.
