We’re seeking personable, friendly candidates with previous experience in event planning, market management, or a related field. This position requires working Saturdays with additional weekday hours for administrative tasks.

The Farmers Market Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and operation of the award-winning Holly Springs Farmers Market. Includes vendor recruitment and relations, market promotion, securing sponsorships, event planning, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Works closely with the Parks & Recreation department to create a vibrant and engaging market that supports local farmers, food producers, and the community.

Holly Springs Parks & Recreation is adding to our CARE team! We’re hiring a friendly Lead CARE Counselor to help provide a safe, engaging, and positive environment for school-age children participating in our Track Out CARE program.

This position works directly with participants, provides leadership to other counselors, assists with daily program operations, and helps ensure activities, supervision, and safety expectations are consistently met for our elementary and middle school participants.

Applicants must be 20 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license, and be willing to work 20-25 hours per week. The hiring range is $12-$14, and staff receive a free membership to the Hunt Fitness Center! Interested in becoming part of our fun team? Explore the world without leaving Bass Lake with Passport to the Planet! Each session journeys to a different region of the world to discover unique landscapes, wildlife, ecosystems, and environmental connections to North Carolina.

Through hands-on activities and exploration, participants ages 5 to 8 will learn how nature shapes life across the globe while building curiosity and appreciation for the world around them. Join us for our next session on Tuesday, September 15, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Bass Lake Park.

Is your child interested in dance, cheer, or tumbling? Then join us for a casual Open House at the Holly Springs Cultural Center on Tuesday, September 1, from 6 to 7 p.m. Whether you’re already registered, still deciding on a class, or just want to know what to expect, drop in anytime and get an in-depth look at each of our dance classes for the fall season!

You’ll have a chance to meet some of our dance, cheer, and tumbling instructors, ask questions about classes, see which ones might be the best fit for your child, get help registering in person, and take a peek at the Cultural Center and our classroom spaces.

Plus, enjoy some light bites while you’re here! This is a great opportunity for any child who may be a little nervous about starting something new. There’s no formal presentation and no need to stay for the full hour. Just drop by anytime, say hello, ask your questions, and get excited for the season ahead. We hope to see you there!

Please note: The Open House will be held at the Cultural Center, but families enrolled in classes at the Hunt Recreation Center are encouraged to attend as well.
