August 23, 2026—The Marshall County School District will be closed Monday, August 24, 2026 due to impacts from the recent storms. It is never an easy decision to close school, but given the large number of families and staff members without power, we feel it is the best option. School will resume Tuesday, August 25, 2026 and schools will work with the families of those who remain affected by power outages.

Meet the Teacher will be held today from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at H. W. Byers for students in grades K-12. Parents and guardians are welcome to bring their child's school supplies. We look forward to seeing you!

All Marshall County School District schools will be pausing registration from Wednesday, July 29th through Tuesday, August 4th as our counselors and schools prepare to ensure a successful start to the 2026-2027 School Year! If you have not registered your child yet, please do so by the end of day on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026. Registration will re-open again on Wednesday, August 5th, 2026.
