RCOC will be doing a presentation at the Holly Township Board of Trustees Meeting August 19th at 6:30 PM. 102 Civic Drive (Upstairs) on the Dixie Highway safety improvement project, from Davisburg Road to I-75, was identified through the Road Commission for Oakland County's (RCOC) Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Safety Action Plan. At this point, the project is in the conceptual stage, as the Road Commission seeks ways to enhance both safety and mobility in the corridor. One option being considered is replacing the current four-lane configuration with a three-lane version that would include a continuous center left-turn lane and one through lane in each direction. This configuration would be expected to help reduce the number or rear-end collisions in the corridor, as it would take left-turning vehicles out of a through lane.

At the August 19, 2026 Holly Township Board of Trustees Meeting at 6:30 PM, Danielle Deneau, Director of Traffic Safety, and Alex Rucinski, Traffic Safety Engineer Manager from RCOC will be doing a presentation on the Dixie Highway Safety Improvement Project.

TOWNSHIP OF HOLLY SUPERVISOR ADMINISTRATOR POSITION OPENING

Holly Township is currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the Vacancy of Holly Township Supervisor Administrator. The supervisor administrator’s duties will include supporting assessing and code enforcement, managing Township-owned properties, coordinating projects with contractors, assisting with Township clean-up days, applying and reporting for grants, creating Township communications such as newsletters, scheduling meetings, procuring office supplies, documenting resident concerns, serving as a point of contact in the absence of the Supervisor, and helping other departments as needed. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in office management and strong clerical proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite. A candidate should have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, organizational skills, and teamwork skills. Additional preferred qualifications include experience with government administration, grant writing and reporting, BS&A software applications, public relations or digital communication, building maintenance, code enforcement, and assessing.
The full-time salaried position ranges from $49,584 to $62,469 based on qualifications with a 4-day work week and excellent benefit package. Holly Township is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
