Great night a the Holly Teen block party, the Holly Area Community Coalition did a great job organizing this event. We were challenged to a tug a war and lets just say the first round was not our best performance but we did take the 2nd round 😁

Big thank you to Firefighter Lewis for helping the kids at Rose Pioneer Elementary School rinse off after the foam pit.

At the end of each school year we assist the Rose Pioneer Parents with the students field day. We love being able to bring extra fun to the day!

Although word has spread through the department like the Great Chicago Fire, I want to officially congratulate FF/EMTFF Tecla J. Denton on passing her National Registry exam!

Now officially a duly licensed paramedic, she has already taken the lead on her first ALS patient. That first call as a medic is one you never forget, and it marks the beginning of an important new chapter in a career dedicated to serving others.

Congratulations, FF/PARAMEDIC Tecla J. Denton!!!!! — we are all proud of you and excited to see what the future holds for you at the department!

We love being to help Holly Area Youth Assistance. They do amazing work to help the youth in Holly!

Behind every new development is a great deal of planning long before the doors ever open. What may look like a “huge pile of dirt” today on Fish Lake Road will soon become a major healthcare campus providing independent senior living, skilled nursing, and assisted care services to our community.

Once operational, this facility is expected to generate approximately 150 additional emergency calls each year. Deputy Chief Smith, Captain Finkbeiner, and I recently spent time reviewing building plans and site layouts to ensure emergency access, fire protection systems, and operational considerations are addressed correctly the first time.

This is some of the behind-the-scenes work North Oakland County Fire Authority performs every day to help our communities grow safely and responsibly. Planning ahead today helps us provide faster, safer, and more effective service tomorrow.

From vehicle rescue training to preparing for the unexpected, every hour spent sharpening our skills helps us better serve our communities when seconds matter most.
