Community Connect Grant Program Webinars
The USDA Rural Development (RD) Rural Utilities Service (RUS) will be hosting two webinars to provide information to entities interested in the Community Connect Grant Program.
The Community Connect Program provides financial assistance to eligible applicants committed to delivering high-speed internet to rural, economically challenged communities where internet access is currently unavailable. By supporting the deployment of high-speed internet on a “community oriented connectivity” basis, the program helps stimulate local economic development and expands access to essential educational and health care opportunities in rural areas.
On Wednesday, May 27th, RUS will host a webinar covering the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Community Connect Grant Program Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). This webinar will include a brief overview of the Community Connect Program, an overview of the NOFO, key considerations for applying, a walkthrough of the application process, next steps and important dates, and an opportunity to ask questions about the program

On Wednesday, June 17th, RUS will host an Ask Me Anything (AMA) webinar where interested applicants may ask program staff any questions they have on the Community Connect Program.
