Some Osprey nest repair and post height adjustment. Raised nest 4 feet higher. Old post was snapped off and was to short so we had to wrap the pole and make it taller and reset nest box. Thank you Shannon Hurry Edwards Mark Dotson and Ed Canfield for all the help.

Witnessed something I have never seen before. I didn’t get any before pictures but got a few afterwards. Bald Eagles,Buzzards and a Great Blue Heron all eating a dead deer. The Heron must have been starving . The Heron is standing off to the right in the second picture but was feasting away when we first saw it

Not the best but I was able to get a quick pic of the meteor

Anyone looking for a smaller sized standard Poodle? This handsome fella is approximately 1 1/2 years old, 50lbs., housebroken, is unsure of other dogs and would need slow introductions, we do not know how he is with cats, he is well mannered and need of immediate placement. Please call if interested! 301.475.8018 Ask for more information on Thumper!

We had a busy weekend. 2 Osprey boxes built and installed . 1 in the Patuxent River and 1 in the Potomac River. The Patuxent River box had been destroyed in a storm and was a total replacement. Within 10 minutes of placing the new box the Osprey’s were already bringing in sticks. The Potomac River box was a replacement for 1 that was deteriorating badly. Ospreys were in the area so they should claim it soon. Thank you Shannon Hurry Edwards ,Mike Gill and Paul. It was a team effort. Mike Gill was my aquaman in his wet suit .
