I learned SO MUCH at the LBJ Women's Campaign School kick-off. Now that I have a deeper understanding of the structure as well as the nuts & bolts of campaigns, I have a renewed level of appreciation for every one of you who generously gave your skills, time, energy and money to help me get elected. Gratitude, gratitude.

Thank you Amy Kroll for the amazing program she and the supporting partners have put together. We had an incredible array of expert speakers with experiences in everything from local to national races. I met many brilliant, brave and passionate women from around the country, including Veira locally. I am certain many of these women will one day be recognized names for making our world a better place.

The venues were the LBJ Presidential Library at the University of Texas and the Texas State Capitol. Both places were replete with history. I only got a quick glance at what was there. Maybe one day I can visit again.

FREE RIDE TO THE POLLS📣

The City of Hollywood’s Sun Shuttle and Holly-Go Community Shuttle services make it easy to reach select voting precincts on Election Day.

For residents who live in the Hillcrest Community, look for Luis Chaux's "Bus ForceOne." He will be making several rounds in and around Hillcrest to bring you to your polling place (Clubhouse #2 - 1151 S. Hillcrest Court) and bring you back to your pick-up point. The route will begin at 7am and repeat again throughout the morning every 30-45 minutes until 11am and will be repeated from 4-7pm. It all starts at 7am at the corner of Park Road and Washington Street. Waive at the bus at it approaches so it will stop for you
• Anywhere along Hillcrest Drive as needed
• The bus will stop at the main Clubhouse (4600 Hillcrest Drive)

Also, today (November 5th), Sun Shuttle rides are FREE between 7 AM and 7:30 PM to help get you to the polls. The Holly-Go Community Shuttle is always free.

The big day is almost here! Election Day is tomorrow - Tuesday, November 5th. In addition to the options offered by the City of Hollywood for free transportation to the voting precinct,

--Community Shuttle (Holly Go) - Extended Hours 7am - 7:30 pm
Circuit

--(Sun Shuttle West) - Fees waived. Extended hours 7am - 7:30 pm

You also have a convenient, free option kindly offered by Hollywood resident and owner of Bus Forceone, Luis Chaux.

Luis is welcoming every voter but you will recognize his bus because it has my picture on it.
