👮‍♂️ SRO Blair is making the rounds!

Our new School Resource Officer, Tyler Blair, has been busy getting around the District, visiting our schools and, most importantly, getting to know our students!

Today, he made a stop at Prairie View Elementary to visit with our 2nd graders. Students are currently learning about rights, responsibilities, laws, rules and community, so Officer Blair was the perfect guest!

He talked about his role in our schools, why rules and laws matter, the importance of showing up to school, and how one of the best parts of his job is simply being around our students, saying hi and building those connections.

Smart Mouth Pizza is coming to Holmen High School Wednesday, Sept. 2, with Holmen Middle School getting its turn Sept. 16!

Great food AND every 10 pizzas purchased helps provide a meal for a child in need? We love it. ❤️

🎉👏 Holmen High School Student Wins Kwik Trip Innovation Competition! 👏🎉

Holmen High School is celebrating another big win in the Kwik Trip Innovation Competition!

Congratulations to Addy Osgood, who was named one of the top three winners of the 2026 Kwik Trip Innovation Contest for her creative idea — Kwik Deli! 🏆

🥪 What is Kwik Deli?

Addy developed the idea for a self-serve deli concept inside Kwik Trip, giving customers another quick, fresh option when they're on the go. Customers could choose from subs, bowls and wraps, combining the convenience Kwik Trip is known for with fresh, customizable meal options.

Addy created the concept as part of the Marketing and Business Concepts class at Holmen High School, where students were challenged to think like entrepreneurs and develop an innovative product or service for Kwik Trip.

Her creativity and business thinking helped her idea rise to the top, earning her recognition as one of just three winners — along with a $500 cash prize! 💵

Our newest Vikings are officially here! Across our elementary schools, this year’s kindergarteners are beginning a journey that will take them all the way to Holmen High School’s Class of 2039. 🎓

📚 A first day for our students — and a first day for someone else, too!

As we welcomed students back to the School District of Holmen today, we also officially welcomed our new School Resource Officer, Officer Tyler Blair! 👋🚔

Officer Blair brings nine years of law enforcement experience to Holmen, including more than six years serving as a School Resource Officer. For him, the role brings together two things that have always been important to him: education and law enforcement.

With a dad who served as a high school principal and a grandmother who worked for the Superior Police Department, Officer Blair grew up thinking he might someday become either a teacher or a police officer. As an SRO, he gets a little bit of both!

Most importantly, Officer Blair is excited to get to know our students, staff and families and become part of the Holmen school community.

If you see Officer Blair in our schools, be sure to stop, say hello and give him a warm Viking welcome!

Today was Freshman Spirit Day at Holmen High School! Our newest Vikings had the chance to get familiar with HHS, meet new people, build some school spirit, and get ready for the year ahead.

💰 A BIG check for Holmen Activities! 💰

A huge thank you to the Holmen Area Foundation for presenting the Holmen High School Activities Department with $15,616 from this year’s 18 Holes for Holmen Golf Outing! ⛳️

For 26 years, this event has brought our community together in support of Holmen students and programs — and that continued support makes an incredible impact.

We are so grateful to the Holmen Area Foundation, everyone who participated in this year’s outing, the sponsors, volunteers and all those who continue to invest in our students.

$15,616 back into Holmen Activities — now THAT is community!
