This morning at 11:55 hours the company was dispatched for the working building fire on Stuart Ave in Glenolden.

The rescue crew staged as the Rapid Intervention Team and then went in to service to assist with overhaul.

The company was in service for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

The company had a busy Sunday night.

Shortly after 6:00 pm, the company was dispatched on the building fire in the 200 block of High street in Sharon Hill. The Rescue responded as the Rapid Intervention Team and on arrival staged and stood by.

When the Rescue cleared the building fire, it was assigned as part of the regional cover crew and proceeded to stand by at Station 4, the Darby Fire Company #1.

During the cover assignment, the company was dispatched to the 600 block of Church Lane in Yeadon for the building fire. The crew stood by for the investigation.

The company was in service for 1 1/2 hours.

Please be aware that the Annual Headstrong walk for Amosland school will be starting at 2:00 today, 5-1-26. The children will be walking along Amosland rd, Academy Ave, Hutchinson Terrace, Grand Ave and Holmes rd.

Roads in that area will be closed off as the students make their way around.

Please use caution as the entire school population participates and this will be a large crowd walking in the roadway. Avoid the area.
