This evening, three members (Auxiliary-Mike Burkman, Captain-Bryson Garland, Firefighter-Dalton Prewitt)of Scipio-Geneva Fire Rescue had the honor of driving our former Rescue-21 to its new home at New Marion Volunteer Fire Department.

To say they were excited to see the truck roll in would be an understatement! It was great to see how much this truck already means to its new department.

For the past 11 years, Rescue-21 faithfully helped our members serve this community. As our department has grown, we've upgraded to better meet the needs of those we serve, making it time for Rescue-21 to begin a new chapter.

We hope this truck serves New Marion Volunteer Fire Department as well as it served us and that it provides many more years of dependable service to their firefighters and community.

From all of us at Scipio-Geneva Fire Rescue, thank you for your continued support. Your Scipio-Geneva firefighters are proud to serve you!

🚒 BENEFIT GUN RAFFLE & ATV/JEEP RIDE 🚙
Join the New Marion Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, August 15, 2026 for a day of fun, food, and community support!

Event Details:

🕤 Registration: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM

🚗 Ride starts at 12:30 PM at the firehouse

🍽 Dinner served at the end of the ride

💲 $40 per unit (includes 2 dinner tickets)

Additional meals: $10

Kids 7 & under: $5

🎟 Gun raffle and silent auction (Gaming License #17304)
👕 Event T-shirts available the day of the event

Come out and support your local volunteer fire department while enjoying a great ride and meal with friends and family!
