We invite you to enjoy a day of recreation at Heber Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area, open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.!

For a safe and enjoyable visit, please come prepared with plenty of water and essential supplies such as tow straps, a shovel, a first aid kit, and basic tools. Proper protective gear is strongly encouraged, and all visitors must know and follow park regulations.

We look forward to seeing you at this 343-acre state vehicular recreation area for a fun and responsible outdoor experience!

Heber Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area (SVRA) is welcoming public review and comment on the Draft (2024) Soil Conservation Plan (SCP). The Heber Dunes SVRA 2024 SCP is a plan that details monitoring activities and management actions as they relate to meeting the Soil Conservation Standard.

A copy of the draft SCP can also be accessed on the Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division’s homepage at:

How to Comment on the Draft SCP
The draft SCP will be available for 30 calendar days for public review. Those wishing to provide comments on the draft SCP can ensure their feedback is on record with OHMVR Division and SVRA staff by emailing comments to the email address listed below by midnight of 01/10/2025.
