Gosh we don’t even know where to begin when it comes to yesterday…..just wow, and we are so so grateful!!!
We wouldn’t have been able to do it without the incredible donations received both for the auction and in monetary form from local businesses and community members we had so many great items for people to bid on and the community just showed up yesterday!!!
Thank you To Tim and Jim Markham, we definitely couldn’t have done it without you!! You kept the day running smoothly and kept the crowd going!
Thank you To the city of Holy Cross and Fidelity Bank for donating towards the bounce houses to keep the kiddos entertained. As well Tri-Vet for having Delaney’s ice cream come out to keep their bellies full!
Thank you To Kevin and Kelly Neumann of Neumann‘s bar and Grill, this day would’ve never started 25 years ago if it wasn’t for your idea to give back to the community, Holy Cross days happens because of you, a day where our community comes together for a good cause and do what little towns do best, they show up for eachother!
To our Holy Cross North Buena Vista Association board members you guys sold those 50/50 tickets like nobody’s business!! We also wouldn’t be where we are without all of you. Thank you always for supporting our ideas and helping us out along the way.
Thank you to our local community members who really showed up yesterday!! We are able to move forward with purchasing our new SCBAS, because of all of you.
Thank you To Ink Splash and Apparel who made the shirts for our members, families and association board members to wear that day, they turned out great!!! We do currently have a clothing order open on their website so if wanting to purchase some HC/NBV gear head on over to check it out!
Thank you to the spouses, kiddos, and significant others of our department members. ❤️You are such an important part of what we do. You pick up the pieces when we have to drop everything and run out the door for a call. You understand the interrupted dinners, late nights, missed plans, and everything else that comes with being part of a fire department family. That support was on full display yesterday. You were all willing to jump in, lend a hand, and help wherever you were needed—and we couldn’t be more grateful. We truly couldn’t do what we do without you. Thank you for always being there, for understanding, and for being such a huge part of our fire department family. ❤️
And last, but certainly not least, to the members of the Holy Cross/North Buena Vista Fire Department… If you asked any of us why we joined this department, I’m pretty sure we would all give you the same answer: to show up for our community when they need us most.
It’s just what we do. We don’t think twice about it—we simply show up.
But yesterday, our community showed up for us, and you could feel the support and generosity all day long. It was truly incredible to see.
A very special shoutout to our fundraising committee. You guys put in so much time, effort, and hard work to make yesterday happen, and it absolutely showed! We are so grateful for everything you did behind the scenes to make the day such a success.
To everyone who came out, donated, volunteered, supported, and helped in any way—THANK YOU! Your generosity means more to us than you know.
We are incredibly lucky to be part of such an amazing community, and we are so proud to serve it.
Thank you all so much!! ❤️🚒
